A+ Certification and Related Examinations

To achieve A+ certification, you'll need to pass BOTH of the following exams:

  • CompTIA A+ 220-901 - covers PC hardware and peripherals, mobile device hardware, networking and troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues
  • CompTIA A+ 220-902 - covers installing and configuring operating systems including Windows, iOS, Android, Apple OS X and Linux. It also addresses security, the fundamentals of cloud computing and operational procedures

Prerequisites

The course is an entry-level one and so the prerequisites are minimal. There is a lot of material to work through and so it will be ideal if the learner has some experience of:

  • PC Usage - for example being competent with starting applications and using files and folders
  • Ideally some PC networking technology experience such as connecting two machines

The courseware adheres to CompTIA's strict quality standards and is CompTIA Approved Quality Content (CAQC).

The A+ requires understanding of PC and Networking technologies and we provide PCs, hubs, routers, connectivity during the course to ensure you've real 'hands-on' experience.
