PRINCE2 Virtual Course Introduction

Take this excellent opportunity to gain or formalise your project management skills in a convenient online classroom.

Note: This course is purely for online attendees - we don't have Remote and In-Person attendees on public courses as online and classroom training have widely differing instructional and timing requirements for optimal learning.

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured method and a de facto standard for effective project management. It provides best-practice guidance on project management and is flexible and adaptable for any type and size of project. It offers an excellent foundation for any member of staff.

This PRINCE2 instructor-led virtual training course maps to the AXELOS PRINCE2 Syllabus - helping you to prepare for the exams. Learners gain the knowledge and skills at PRINCE2 Foundation level and for those attending the extended session, Practitioner level also. Learners will be provided with focused pre-study materials which need to be completed before the course. Some evening study will be required during the course to assist in preparation for the exam(s) and to keep in step with the class.

PRINCE2 6th Edition Project Management Certifications

The PRINCE2 6th Edition certification scheme is owned by AXELOS (Website): PRINCE2 6th Edition Project Management Certifications

The training equips learners with a detailed knowledge of the PRINCE2 methodology, working through each stage of pre-project preparation and the project lifecycle.

PRINCE2 Certification and Related Examinations

There are two main levels of exam: Foundation and Practitioner.

We'll help you organise your online exams.

For Foundation level the course involves approximately 18 hours of instruction over several days. The exam is generally taken online at the learners convenience once study is complete.

PRINCE2 6th Edition Foundation Certification

The PRINCE2 6th Edition Foundation Certification scheme is owned by AXELOS (Website): PRINCE2 6th Edition Foundation Certification

For Practitioner the course requires 12 hours of instruction over several days and the Foundation certification is a prerequisite. For someone requiring both Foundation and Practitioner the training can either be relatively 'back to back' or with several weeks gap between as long as the learner maintains their knowledge.

PRINCE2 6th Edition Practitioner Certification

The PRINCE2 6th Edition Practitioner Certification scheme is owned by AXELOS (Website): PRINCE2 6th Edition Practitioner Certification

The Re-registration exam was a shorter version of the Practitioner exam, applicable to PRINCE2 2009 Practitioner holders only. The PRINCE Re-registration ceased to be available 31st December 2017. The main process to maintain your PRINCE2 Practitioner is to sit the 6th Edition Practitioner exam. We'll help you assess how much study will be required. You may just need a few hours of study if you're using the PRINCE2 method daily. Typically a few hours study and attending the Practitioner course will be sufficient. For someone who has not used the method for some time, the full course may be necessary.
